SERVICES AVAILABLE
Collection of paper, cardboard, aluminium cans, glass bottles and toner cartridges for recycling.
Provision of bins or containers for collection of above materials. Bins provided are either 120, 240, 660 or 1000 liter plastic bins and are colour coded for the specific item collected i.e. Blue for paper, red for glass, yellow for commingle.
For cardboard we can either provide, depending on volume or collection area, metal frames and bale bags or, if large volume of cardboard is involved, can hire cardboard/waste balers which can compact cardboard into bales for easy storage and collection.
For large volume of paper and where there adequate space we can provide 1.5 or 3 cubic meter metal winch/cable bins for collection.
For the convenience of building tenants and cleaners we can provide floor boxes for individual desk or workstations. These boxes are clearly marked for waste paper and can be placed next to desk side garbage bins for the collection of paper. Once full these can be emptied into a central 120 or 240 litre bin for collection.
We can tailor a service to each specific building or situation depending on the client’s needs.
We can also make arrangements for a security destruction service if required for confidential papers, documents and even disks and tapes.
Full skip bin service available with bin sizes ranging from 2 cubic metres to 8
cubic metres.
OUTLINE OF RECYCLING PROCESS
Once the bins are full and placed at designated pick up point on designated day, they are emptied into the back of one of our trucks and compacted. Once full, the trucks are emptied at their respective recyclers such as AMCOR for the paper and cardboard. The paper and cardboard are then pulped and recycled into more cardboard. The bottles and cans are also melted down and recycled into bottles and cans. We are proud to say that all the paper, glass and aluminium are recycled within Australia or sold overseas as either newly recycled product or raw product. This, therefore, helps the economy as well as the environment.
TONER CARTRIDGE RECYCLING SERVICE
Ecosense Environmental Services Pty Ltd can also provide a toner cartridge recycling program which will reduce rubbish content further.
We can provide bins for disposal of used cartridges and will arrange periodic emptying of these bins.
COMMINGLE RECYCLING SERVICE
Commingle is when glass, aluminium and plastic containers are contained and collected together. This process involves the supply of yellow 120 or 240 ltr bins for collection of glass (bottles, jars, etc), aluminium and metal cans and plastic (P.E.T) bottles and containers. Once full, the contents of these bins are emptied into the same truck and transported to an M.R.F (material recovery facility) located at most waste transfer facilities, where they are separated and recycled.
We can tailor a program for each clients specific need, supply as many bins as are required and empty these bins as often as required. This service does incur a charge, however, as we are charged for disposal at M.R.F’s.
